From Chris Campbell
The Cull-Buddy system is by far the best culling system that I have ever owned. I am a very avid Tournament Bass Angler, and as any other tournament angler knows the best way to get your weight up for the allotted weigh-in time is keeping your bait in the water and covering as much water as possible, not to mention saving space for all you tackle. So you don't have time to dig through your compartments and try to find your |

culling balls that may be tangled up and wrapped around god only knows what. Jeff Mullins has developed a culling system that has a short leader so it will not tangle with your other culling balls when your fish are in the livewell and mounts exactly were you need it, in the livewell. I recently fished a tournament on Old Hickory lake in Gallitan, Tennessee were the size limit is only 14 inches. Immediately after we launched and I got to my first spot I started catching fish it was happening so fast I was putting cull buoy's on them and tossing them in the livewell. Then all of a sudden the fish stopped biting and it was only 8:45 in the morning I went from spot to spot trying to find fish and nothing. It was now 2:30 and the weigh-in time was 3:00 so I ran to my last spot were I was "looking |
for my 5th keeper" at 2:43 Bam I hooked up with a good fish in a matted grass bed he got tangled up and it took me what seemed like forever to get him out without loosing him. I now had about 10 minutes to get this fish in put him in the livewell and run all the way back to the ramp. I pulled the fish out dropped my rod ran back to my livewell to toss him in and start back, when I realized 5 of my culling buoy's were not in my tray I looked into my livewell and I already had 5 keepers in my livewell, I pulled my buoy's up grabbed my shortest fish threw it back put the fish I just caught in the livewell and gunned it back to the ramp with 2 minutes to spare. Without the numbered Cull-Buddy buoy rack that was mounted in my livewell I would have took 6 fish to the weigh-ins and been disqualified. Thanks to Jeff Mullins for developing a Culling System that shows you how many fish are in your livewell and saves you precious fishing time I managed to Clinch a 3rd place finish, without my Cull-Buddy I would have brought 6 fish to the scales and been disqualified. Thank you to Cull-Buddy for this truly outstanding culling system I don't know how I ever could go without it, it is truly a money saver and time saver. I would recommend this product to any Tournament Angler.

From Tim Johnson:
Georgia FLW Tour angler Tim Johnson has picked up a single-event sponsor for the Forrest Wood Cup. It's with Cull-Buddy, Inc. – the maker of a culling system that he says prevented him from making a costly mistake earlier this year.
"It literally saved me a check for $12,000 at the Beaver Lake tournament," he said. "I had a limit of fish and caught another keeper and was using a balance beam to determine the smallest fish to cull. It was very windy that day and as I was about to cull, my co-angler said the boat was almost on the rock bank we were fishing. I jumped up and moved the boat out, and then went back to close the livewell lid.
"I noticed that all six cull buoys were out of the holster. After checking, I realized I still had six fish in the well – I didn't cull before jumping up to save the boat. If not for the Cull-Buddy, I would have just closed the well and went back to fishing, and later realized I had not culled the sixth fish, which would have been an automatic DQ for the day.
"With all the buoys at easy reach and vision, I could tell that I had not culled the fish," he added. "The product is very easy to install and works great. The cull tabs do not come out of the holster when running, even in rough water."
Time and cost considerations precluded a boat wrap, but Johnson will be wearing a newly made Cull-Buddy jersey for the weigh-ins and representing the company in the Cull-Buddy booth at the Family Fun Zone and outdoor show when he's not on the water. Read the original article on BassFan.com
From Waine Pittman:
I first saw the Cull-Buddy at a local tackle shop (Nature’s Tackle Box) in Hiram, GA and was very impressed with the design and concept. I started thinking about how many times I had to fumble around and untangle my culling rings while tournament fishing and knew that I had to have this new product. I went home and installed the system on the inside lid of my live-well so it would be ready for use.
While fishing a tournament on Saturday, I put my first fish in the boat, hooked him up to the first cull ring, and was back fishing in no time!!! No problems finding or untangling!!! After catching my sixth keeper of the day, I put the two smallest on the balance beam and instantly culled the smallest fish. I was very pleased with the organization it provided as well as the time it took (almost none) to get me back fishing!!!
I was a bit curious to see how they would hold up to rough water conditions and whether or not they would remain in their tubes. Well, after several trips to the lake fishing tournaments and for fun, I have not had a single problem with any of the rings coming out of their tubes.
Whether you are a weekend warrior or a professional angler, I suggest that you get your Cull-Buddy TODAY!!
From Jerry Strain:
I saw your CULL-BUDDY in a friends boat. I have three other culling systems(Bass Pro, Cull Rite and a unknown name system). I actually used your system with my Cull-Rite scale this past Saturday. IT WAS SIMPLE AND EASY. (Culled approximately 15 Bass to a 5 fish limit in a 91 boat tournament.) I finished 5th. I saved valuable fishing time by not trying to remember that red or blue etc. was next. Luckily I have won numerous bass tournaments in the past plus being a recently retired STATE TROOPER almost everyone knows me and are always inquiring about "what I'm doing or what is working."
From Harold Neeley:
The cull-buddy will really update the way people start culling their fish for the day.
The location of the system under your live well lids and the easy of the system to cull and keep up with your fish is one of the best systems that I’ve ever used in my lifetime of fishing tournament fishing.
Also you know where your buoys are and you don’t have to be fishing them out of your storage compartments
I’m very proud to be on the Pro Staff and look forward to working with you on promoting this great product.
From Hal Abshire:
Tonight I installed a new product on my bass boat. It is called Cull-Buddy. I installed this product under the lid of my rear storage compartment. Although it would have been nice to have a fishing buddy there to hold a screw while I was tightening the Cull - Buddy to the lid, I was able to do it by myself and you can to. I would tell you not to use power drills on the screws. I found it better to use a regular Phillips screwdriver while I held on to the 5/16 locknuts. It fit neatly on the inside of the lid and really looks great. The first thing I did was to take out my other buoys out of the front of my boat. Wow, I actually made room in my boat for once!
This product allows you to get to your buoys faster and a lot easier. It is always there for you and not under a lot of stuff in your compartments. The Cull - Buddy is a great product for the tournament fishermen. I believe that Jeff Mullins has big hit with this product.
